Patrick Ledet pitched nine innings to lift Casper Cutthroats to an 11-1 win over Northern Colorado Toros.
The biggest inning for the Casper Cutthroats was the third. The Cutthroats’ bats caught fire leading to seven runs. Casper scored in the third on a three-run home run by Trevor Courtney, a two-run single by Blake Coffman, an RBI single by Trey Nelson, and a sacrifice fly by Chris Adams.
Nelson racked up two RBIs on three hits for Casper.
#3 was charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in two innings, walked three and struck out none.
Casper Cutthroats didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when it scored on a two-run single by Ben Holland.
Casper Cutthroats pushed across one run in both the second inning and the ninth. In the second, Casper Cutthroats scored on an RBI single by Nelson, plating Dan Reese.
